National Association for the Education of Young Children - All Early Childhood Education Programs in our school district work together to celebrate children in April of each year at the Week of the Young Child Event.

Kinship Partners is a nonprofit youth mentoring organization serving families within the communities of Brainerd, Baxter, Crosby, Deerwood, Pequot Lakes, Nisswa, Pine River, and Backus, Minnesota by providing positive role models to youth in our communities.

The Pillager Family Center is committed to help build strong families by offering programs and services to chldren and families in the Pillager community.

Pine River Chamber of Commerce - birthplace of the Paul Bunyan Trail -

Family Safety Network (FSN) is a non-profit, tax exempt organization dedicated to providing confidential advocacy, support and referral services to domestic violence victims and their children. FSN has been actively working with victims/survivors of domestic violence since February 1993.

The FSN office is located in Walker, MN and serves all of Cass County, as well as a portion of the Leech Lake Indian Reservation, with close access to the court house. The Mission Statement of the Family Safety Network is “To help keep families safe”.

Hunger-Free Minnesota is a statewide campaign to fight hunger in our communities. It unites a coalition of business people, community leaders, government policy specialists, communities of faith, food banks, food shelves, aligned agencies and thousands of community members in a challenge to close the missing meal gap in every county in Minnesota.

Birth Injury Justice Center The Birth Injury Justice Center is an online resource for anyone who has been affected by birth injuries, brain injuries, cerebral palsy, Erb’s palsy or other disabilities. This organization was created to provide answers and guidance to help families and children get all the assistance they need to help improve their overall quality of life.
