Regional Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Prevention Coordinator
The Pine River-Backus Family Center has an opening for the Regional Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Prevention Coordinator. This position covers 12 counties in West Central, Minnesota. The successful candidate will collaborate with communities in assessing and identifying community needs, developing a plan for prevention and establishing and maintaining prevention programs in their communities. Candidate should demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, be a self-starter, have excellent facilitation and organizational skills, be able to do public speaking, and be an advocate and role model for prevention. Extensive travel is required. A Bachelor’s degree in a health related field and at least two years’ experience delivering prevention programs/strategies is required.
