Family Center Governing Board

The Family Council is a group of people who are concerned about the welfare of children and families in the Pine River-Backus area.

Family Council Members

  • Most of our members are parents; some have young children, some have grown children and grandchildren.
  • A few Family Council members have affiliations with other community organizations.
  • Others become involved after participating in Family Center activities.

When Do We Meet?

  • The Family Council normally meets on the third Thursday of each month throughout the year.
  • Meetings are held in the Family Center meeting room and usually last 1.5 to 2 hours.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about the Family Center, join us at our next meeting and find out more about how to become a Family Council member.
